The theoretical block is devoted to current issues in the study of folk tales and humor, poetry and songwriting, various aspects of ritual, sacred geography are explored, and special emphasis is placed on issues of identity. Early records of Belarusian folk tales and proverbs are being published.

The collection is intended for folklorists, ethnologists, linguists, art historians, local historians, as well as anyone interested in folk heritage.
