On May 20–25, the Belarusian scientific delegation consisting of I. L. Kopylov, director of the Institute of Linguistics named after. Yakub Kolas Center for Research of Belarusian Culture, Language and Literature of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, V. N. Kurtsova, Head of the Department of Dialectology and Linguogeography , I. N. Skvortsova, Head of the Department of Fine and Decorative Arts of the Institute of Art History, Ethnography and Folklore named after. Kondrat Krapiva of the Center for Research of Belarusian Culture, Language and Literature of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, and I. V. Budko, Head of the Department of Belarusian and Russian Languages of the Faculty of International Cooperation of the Belarusian National Technical University, visited Kostroma State University.
The trip was dedicated to solving several practical problems. The main ones were, firstly, a meeting with representatives of the leadership of the Kostroma region for international relations and cooperation and representatives of the administration of Kostroma State University, and secondly, participation in the International Round Table “E. V. Chestnyakov and Ya. N. Drozdovich as representatives of the cultural renaissance of the early twentieth century” and other events held at that time at Kostroma University as part of the International Week of National Languages and Cultures, dedicated to the 225th anniversary of the birth of A.S. Pushkin, the Day of Slavic Literature and Culture and the International Day of Philologists.
